Premium Stolzle New York Bar Collins Glasses - Set of 6 Crystal Clear Highball Drinking Glasses for Cocktails, Iced Tea & Lemonade - Perfect for Home Bars, Restaurants & Parties

This is my second time buying Stolzle New York glasses. I really like the look and feel of these glasses, they are super clear and enhance the look of any beverage and the feel of the heavy bottom makes for a sturdy balance. As far as dimensions they are 6.5"x2.25" and they hold max 14.25 Ounces so they will hold a soda can size (12oz) with a couple of Ice cubes. I like these also for cocktails like Mojitos or John Collins, or mixers like rum & coke, etc. I bought a 4 pack a few years ago and have used them many times and the only one that broke was totally my fault, so they don't break easily even though they have a thin wall. Good crystal usually makes a sound like a bell when tapped and this Stolzle make a clear nice tone that lasts so that's a good sign. I will enjoy these for many years and have received many complements on these collins glasses.The glasses are a bit smaller than anticipated, but not bad. Just a basic chimney style bar glass. Works for us!Like the glasses. Be aware these are collins glasses not water glasses, so regular ice cubes may/may not fit. My narrower ice-maker cubes work fine.…when I'm getting snockered. Very nice glasses. Walls are quite thin...I like them that way. I haven't noticed any particular blemishes. Personally I would have preferred a larger size though. I have some but couldn't find them on here again. Now, if you'll excuse me I need to freshen my highball...My husband loves these glasses. We use them for gin and tonics and other cocktails.Really like my new glassware ! Just the right size . Great craftsmanship and quality product. I would recommend purchasing .I got these glass only because they were my only choice on amazon. I only needed four but the smallest amount they sold them in was six. I don't know a thing about 'Stolzle' brand glassware - except from what I've experienced from these six glasses. I bought them for the purpose of serving alcoholic drinks, after all, they are Collins glasses. When I took them out of the box I notice immediately how thin the glass was near the rim, and I remember thinking, well these aren't going to last long. After about 4 drinks, ICE (yes ice) from my fridges ice dispenser chipped the rim of the glass. I'm pretty disgusted honestly. It's not like I was tossing them into the bottom shelf of the dishwasher (always hand washed them) or anything, they didn't even make it past the ice machine. Yikes. They say bar glasses - yea right they wouldn't last one night in a bar. Never buying this brand again.We bought these about 2 weeks ago, so have a bit of use to report on. Very well made, nicely balanced, heavy base. A bit taller than I expected, and a bit too narrow at the top - especially important if you use glassware directly under the ice dispenser. But otherwise very nice and worth the price.
