I purchased the glasses as a Christmas present for a relative that only drinks Mezcal. Yes, you can drink Mezcal out of any type of glass, but these came beautifully boxed with the story of how this type of glass had been used in Oaxaca Mexico as prayer candle holders. The glasses were a hit - and they appreciated the story behind the tradition of Mezcal and the candle holders. I definitely think they were worth the price. They are sturdy with a nice heft to them. I would definitely recommend them to any Mezcal aficionados.I bought them from this seller other than the other ones because it showed a picture of them in a gift box full of tissue and a pretty bow as I planned on giving it to a friend for her birthday. Unfortunately I was very disappointed….it just came in a plain brown box unlike the picture. Glasses are well made tho. These are exactly what I was looking for and for a fraction of the price I saw them elsewhere. Great quality! I love the cross emblem on the bottom of the glass; nice detail. These look more like votive candle holders than shot glasses and that is ok by me. The design is copious, bold and the texture may help on your third mezcal.like I am in a mexican cantinaOn time, as described. Packaged great to avoid breaking in transit.Exactly what I wanted. A little pricy but …...Effective.
