Purchased these glasses to replace my broken prescription safety glasses and have found that in some ways they’re much better. As an aircraft mechanic, I am required to do thorough visual inspections using a bright light and inspection mirror. The bright lights glare tended to fatigue my eyesight, but using these yellow lenses with the readers reduced the fatigue, increased the contrast and made my inspections quite a bit easier.I wear these glasses everywhere, inserting the readers as required, and found that they are quite comfortable and durable. They are a bit pricey, took a chance and have found that they are a delight to wear. They are ANSI Z87.1+ compliant and offer UV400 protection which is required and important for the type of work that I do. They offer clear lenses as well, If you are looking for an awesome pair of safety glasses, whether used for inspections or for their stated purpose, you can’t go wrong.
