These are simple, light weight glasses that are perfect for multi-taking when you need two different vision fields: near and far. I wear them when working in the yard and I'm constantly looking up close and far away. They are small and don't obstruct me looking over my glasses. My only complaint is that I can't get them in different strengths. If I could, I would have a drawer full!I have been wearing reading glasses for the better part of a year now. The biggest problem I have had has been forgetting them & not having them when I need them. I solved this problem by buying valupacs of glasses by OPTX 20/20. I have them more than scattered around. I first bought two sets (6 pairs of glasses). These were the These little guys are awesome. (Especially @ $12.50/3 pair.) I have a set by the bed, at my desk, and in my purse. The online colors (per my screen) are true to life. I'm a blue person, but the red just pops and is so fun! Even the purple is nice. The hinges aren't real strong, so I have to remember not to tweak them, and be careful they don't get caught on a stack of paper or my collar. (They are plastic non-flexible frames.)I had perfect vision until I hit 40 then suddenly bam! I couldn't read without the assistance of glasses. Argh!Otherwise, I've had no issues with fit or clarity. I don't baby them, I'm just more careful with the second set. (This is my second set in two years. I'm still new to wearing glasses and not the most proactive caregiver.)When I received these they were tight on my head. The arms bowed in. One of the pairs broke at the hinge within the first week. The lenses were a little small for my liking but there was nothing wrong with them. I would have liked a larger lens. I wouldn't buy these again but if you like a small lens these are the glasses for you. Also each one of the three pairs fit differently. The ones that broke in the first week were the ones that fit the best. Oh well! These are the lightest (yet sturdy) readers I've ever purchased. Used to wonder how some people could wear their readers all day, even when not reading. Now I know: lightweight and comfortable! Many a time I've forgotten I had them on and wore them home from the office. I've tried dollar store, big box store, and prescription readers .... these are the best. Have worn the "office" pair for a couple of months now with no issues, no loosening of fit and as perfect as the first day. The other two pair are in the drawer for backups.....looks like they will be there a long while! They're obviously feminine but I like the narrow lenses, besides at my age who cares. This is my second purchase of Optx glasses but my first plastic ones. I think the plastic is more durable than the metal. At this price I have them all over the house. How they can be sold at this price is astonishing.Light weight, easy to Perch on my nose so I can look over them when I don't Need themI've bought the same-ish readers directly from Optx 20/20 which I prefer over these. The direct bought were a bit more expensive at about $30 for 3 pairs, but they have metal in the temples (these are all plastic) and come with cases and lens cleaning cloths, which again this set of readers did not. I had hoped they would be the same. Decent enough but I like the others better.
